About "Concerto pour Piano en La Mineur, Op. 54: II. Intermezzo - An dantino grazioso" by Andreas Staier
The Intermezzo from Schumann's Piano Concerto unfolds as a tender, walking-paced daydream. Staier's touch is intimate, almost confiding, yet the andantino grazioso carries a faint melancholy—like sunlight through a window that's about to cloud over. Calm and unease waltz together in this hushed centerpiece.
