About This Song
About "Get Your Money Where You Spend Your Time" by Bobby "Blue" Bland
A funk-inflected groove with a wry, pragmatic message, this track finds Bland offering hard-won wisdom over a tight, infectious rhythm. The horns are sharp, the bass is deep, and Bland's delivery is effortlessly cool. It's a sermon on self-reliance, delivered with a knowing wink and a danceable beat.
