About "Pastel Love" by Maricopa
Maricopa's 'Pastel Love' is a hazy, dream-pop-inflected electronic gem. Soft-focus synths and a gentle beat wash over like watercolor, but a faint dissonance lingers at the edges. The title's sweetness is undercut by a wistful melancholy—love remembered, not possessed, its colors fading.
