About "2016 Mentality" by Toxic Shock
Toxic Shock dissect a year's worth of cultural rot on '2016 Mentality.' A scabrous, wiry riff coils around deadpan vocals, capturing the numb repetition of doomscrolling. It's a time capsule of anxiety, where the calm is just exhaustion and the unease is permanent.
