About This Song
About "Knock on wood 99" by Amii Stewart
Amii Stewart's disco-funk take on superstition is all glittering percussion and insistent groove, a mirrorball spinning over a floor of doubt. The '99' adds a playful, ticking-clock tension, the music's euphoria shadowed by the fear of tempting fate. Pure, joyful unease.
