About This Song
About "Lucia di Lammermoor : Donizetti: Lucia di Lammermoor: "Tombe degli avi miei"" by Benjamin Bernheim
Donizetti's mad scene opens a tomb of ancestral ghosts. Bernheim's tenor trembles at the threshold between sanity and spectral obsession, the piano's stark chords a cold marble slab beneath florid grief.
