About "Maple Leaf Rag" by Cecile Licad
Cecile Licad attacks Joplin's rag with crisp, percussive precision. The syncopated rhythm feels like a joyful stumble through a sunlit parlor, each note a bright, bouncing leaf. It's pure, infectious momentum—a masterclass in controlled, ebullient chaos.
