About "I'll Be Around" by Rosemary Clooney
Clooney promises constancy over Prado's gentle rhumba, her voice a warm hand on a cold night. The arrangement glows like a porch light left on for a traveler. Yet there's a shadow: the tension between reassurance and the fear that the door may never open.
