About "Cantata, BWV 204 "Ich bin vergnügt" : J.S. Bach: Cantata, BWV 204 "Ich bin vergnügt": Aria "Die Schätzbarkeit der weiten Erde"" by Christine Schäfer

Schäfer's crystalline soprano turns Bach's aria into a meditation on earthly worth. The strings shimmer like light on water, yet beneath the serenity lies a quiet ache—a soul weighing the treasures of the world against the weight of the infinite.
