About "Péyi mwen jodi (Instrumental)" by Alain Jean Marie
An instrumental love letter to 'Péyi mwen jodi'—Jean-Marie’s piano carries the melody like a memory of home. The jazz harmony is warm, but there’s a wistful distance in the phrasing, as if the island is both present and just out of reach.
