About This Song
About "Bruckner: Requiem in D Minor, WAB 39: VII. Benedictus" by Catherine Denley
Denley's alto pierces Bruckner's solemn tapestry, a candle trembling in cavernous stone. The Benedictus unfolds with hushed awe, each phrase a slow inhalation before eternity. Grief and hope lock in a quiet, devastating embrace, the orchestra a distant storm behind her unwavering plea.
