About This Song
About "Sling Shot" by Chip Wickham
Taut and playful, 'Sling Shot' fires off a rubbery bassline and crisp percussion. Wickham's flute ricochets across the stereo field like a stone skipped on water—each note a precise, elastic bounce. It's jazz-funk with a mischievous grin and a coiled spring.
