About "Schütz: Der 100. Psalm, SWV 36" by Ashley Grote
Schütz’s setting of Psalm 100 surges with baroque grandeur, performed in Westminster Abbey’s cavernous acoustic. The 'jubilant noise' of the text becomes a controlled architectural storm—brass and voices rising like incense, awe wrestling with human smallness beneath the vault.
