About This Song
About "Lament (Fortunate Isolation)" by Borusiade
A lament for solitary confinement, Borusiade builds a cathedral of reverb and slow, mournful synths. The title's parenthetical—'Fortunate Isolation'—hangs in the air like a question. The music is beautiful but claustrophobic, a candle flickering in a room with no door.
