About "Mass in B Minor, BWV 232: Agnus Dei" by Boyd Neel Orchestra
The Agnus Dei from Bach's Mass in B Minor arrives like a bowed head in candlelight. The Boyd Neel Orchestra draws out a solemn, penitent line, the Baroque textures spare and luminous—grief held in perfect balance with hope, never tipping into sentimentality.
