About This Song
About "La truite" by Michèle Arnaud
In 'La truite,' Arnaud strips the Schubert theme to its essence: a simple, haunting melody that flickers like scales in sunlight. Her delivery is intimate, almost conversational, yet the emotional undertow is dark—the trout's darting grace is shadowed by inevitable capture, a fragile calm before the hook.
