About This Song
About "J.M. Bach: Ach, bleib bei uns, Herr Jesu Christ" by Andreas Staier
Staier and Goebel turn this J.M. Bach chorale into a hushed vigil. The continuo breathes like a held sigh, while the upper voices flicker between consolation and grief. A still point where faith and doubt share the same fragile, luminous space.
