About This Song
About "Wide Awake In A Dream" by Barry Biggs
Biggs's reggae take on the classic standard is a dreamy, drifting affair, his vocal floating over a lazy rhythm. The paradox of being wide awake in a dream is captured in the music's hazy, hypnotic quality. It's a sweet surrender to the surreal.
