About This Song
About "Pardesi" by Amit Trivedi
A slow-burning ballad of displacement, 'Pardesi' aches with the weight of distance. Trivedi's arrangement is sparse and haunting, allowing a lone, plaintive melody to drift over a bed of soft strings and gentle percussion. The emotional tension is palpable—a quiet, persistent longing that never finds its release.
