About This Song
About "Il Sorpasso (Titoli - ripresa)" by Riz Ortolani
This alternate take on the Sorpasso theme swings with a looser, jazzier gait. Piano and horns trade playful phrases, evoking a sunlit piazza and the easy confidence of youth. It's pure Italian jazz-pop effervescence, a snapshot of an era's carefree spirit before the hangover sets in.
