About "Tomkins: Be Strong and of a Good Courage" by James O'Donnell
Tomkins sets courage to music with martial dignity, brass-like choral declamation. The command to ‘be strong’ rings out, but under the confident fanfare, a fragile human quaver—resolve tested by the unknown, steadied only by faith.
