About This Song
About "A Number by I. Grosz" by Autarkic
Autarkic turns a line by I. Grosz into a skeletal, art-funk meditation on identity and arithmetic. The track is all negative space and nervous angles, a number counted out in a voice that's half-spoken, half-sung. It's a puzzle box of a song—precise, chilly, and strangely hypnotic.
