About This Song
About "Beethoven: Für Elise, Bagatelle in A Minor, WoO 59" by Anatol Ugorski
Für Elise is so familiar it's almost invisible, but Ugorski restores its strangeness. He lingers on the opening's hesitant grace, letting the A minor ache surface between the notes. It's a bagatelle that feels like a half-remembered dream, tender and just out of reach.
