About This Song
About "On Time" by Rufus
A funk locomotive driven by Chaka Khan's incandescent vocal, 'On Time' pulses with precision. Horns punch through a glossy groove like sunlight off chrome. The tension lies in restraint: the band locks tight while Khan threatens to combust, making punctuality feel like ecstatic release.
