About This Song
About "Seyni" by Cheikh Lô
With 'Seyni,' Lô crafts a hypnotic, percussion-driven meditation. The groove circles like a dust devil on a Sahel road, its repetitive chant building a trance-like tension between motion and stillness, devotion and earthly weight.
