About This Song
About "Hallo" by Tovaritch
'Hallo' is a deceptive greeting: Tovaritch layers a sugary, almost innocent synth melody over a menacing, distorted beat. The contrast between the bright, childlike vocal sample and the dark, bruising bass creates an unsettling unease, like a smile that doesn't reach the eyes.
