About "Boccherini: Symphony No. 14 in A Major, G. 498: III. Tempo di minuetto, con un poco di motto" by Ross Pople
This minuetto moves with a limping grace, its 'poco di motto' hinting at a secret the dancers keep. Boccherini balances sweetness with a shadow of unease, the melody skipping like a stone across a dark pond. Elegance and eccentricity waltz hand in hand.
