About This Song
About "Shake Um up Rock" by Benny Cliff
Benny Cliff's 'Shake Um up Rock' is a primitive jolt of rockabilly id, all twanging guitar and hiccupped urgency. From Do the Bop, it's a basement party in mono—chaotic joy barely contained by the groove. The tension is between wild abandon and the needle about to skip.
