About "Jolivet: Trumpet Concerto No. 2: II. Grave" by André Jolivet
A grave movement for trumpet that treats the instrument as a solemn bell tolling through fog. Jolivet strips away bravado, leaving a stark, hymn-like line that hovers between grief and strange peace—each note a heavy stone dropped into still water, rippling with restrained, ceremonial tension.
