About "Rachmaninov 2nd Piano Concerto" by Hauser
Hauser scales Rachmaninov’s concerto with orchestral sweep, the cello a lone voice against rising strings. Tension coils beneath the romantic surface—a storm held in a glass jar. The melody swells, then retreats, like a tide that cannot decide whether to drown or caress.
