About This Song
About "Toxic Tropic" by Anthony Joseph
A humid, hallucinatory groove that simmers with postcolonial unease. Joseph paints a paradise rotting at the edges, the rhythm swaying like palm fronds before a storm. 'Toxic Tropic' is a fever dream of beauty and decay, its sweetness laced with something bitter—a vacation postcard written in warning.
