Ain't As Easy

Your memories won't quit
The ones I'm out here dying to forget
They ain't let up not one moment or one bit
And if they're gonna well they haven't done it yet
So I just keep drinking

I thought that I could drown 'em
In some magic whiskey fountain
But the only thing I'm drowning in is me
And if all this climbing walls
Could lead to somewhere better off
I wouldn't be so lost in misery
Oh believe me
It ain't as easy as I thought it would be

Same old silly me
Thinking I could finally set my heart free
The one you tore apart when you just had to leave
And leave me with all these dreams that'll never come true

I thought that I could drown 'em
In some magic whiskey fountain
But the only thing I'm drowning in is me
And if all this climbing walls
Could lead to somewhere better off
I wouldn't be so lost in misery
Oh believe me
It ain't as easy as I thought it would be

So what if I don't
Get over you
It looks like I won't
Get over you

I thought that I could drown 'em
In some magic whiskey fountain
But the only thing I'm drowning in is me
And if all this climbing walls
Could lead to somewhere better off
Well I wouldn't be so lost in misery
Oh believe me
It ain't as easy as I thought it would be

Oh believe me
It ain't as easy as I thought it would be
