About This Song
About "When I Was Your Favourite Singer" by Amanda Lear
'When I Was Your Favourite Singer' finds Lear in elegiac mode, a spotlight dimming on a past self. The arrangement hovers between cabaret and art-pop, its melancholy draped in satin. Nostalgia curdles into something sharper: the quiet ache of being remembered only as a echo.
