About This Song
About "Piano Sonata in E-Flat Major: Movement 2. Fantasia" by Alma Deutscher
The second movement of Deutscher's piano sonata is a fantasia that wanders like a mind at dusk. Improvisatory flourishes give way to moments of stark clarity, the music balancing invention with structure. It's a landscape of shifting moods, calm and restlessness in equal measure.
