About This Song
About "You're Not Fooling Me" by Angel
'You're Not Fooling Me' finds Angel in sleek, paranoid pop mode. A clipped beat and icy synth line frame a vocal that's all raised eyebrow and clenched jaw. The tension is coiled—sweet melody versus suspicious lyric—like a smile that doesn't reach the eyes. Danceable unease, perfectly poised.
