About "Romeo & Juliet, Op. 64, Act II: No. 26, The Nurse" by Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
Prokofiev's Nurse bustles with comic anxiety—a flurry of woodwinds and clipped strings that feels like a letter being folded, unfolded, and hidden again. The Baltimore Symphony plays her as a whirlwind of gossip and care, her theme a nervous heartbeat beneath the ballet's velvet surface.
