About "Cantata “Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen”, BWV 12 : 2. Coro : “Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen”" by Cantus Cölln
Bach's cantata opens with a chorus of weeping, lamentation, sorrow, and fear—yet the music is stately, almost processional. Cantus Cölln balance the text's anguish against a measured Baroque architecture, creating a tension between grief's chaos and faith's order. Tears become counterpoint; sorrow, a disciplined beauty.
