About "007, a Fantasy Bond Theme" by Barry Adamson
Adamson's fantasy Bond theme is a knowing pastiche—sleek surf guitar, sweeping strings, and a swaggering brass fanfare. But beneath the spy-movie cool lurks a melancholy, as if the fantasy is just that: a dream of danger that dissolves on waking. It's glamorous, hollow, and irresistible.
