About This Song
About "Kiki de Montparnasse" by Boulou Ferre
Kiki, the queen of Montparnasse, painted in tremolo strings. Ferré evokes a cabaret smoke-haze, but the rhythm stumbles like a heel caught in cobblestones. A tribute that feels both celebratory and haunted by the ghosts of bohemia.
