About "Don't Do Anything (I Wouldn't Do)" by Angelo Badalamenti
Don't Do Anything (I Wouldn't Do) rides a slinky, late-night groove with a sly wink. Badalamenti's arrangement is all velvet and shadows—a whispered dare over a walking bass. The tension between invitation and warning is the point: a hand extended, then withdrawn, leaving you leaning into the dark.
