About "East Texas Son" by Amy Annelle
Annelle sketches 'East Texas Son' with dusty, unhurried strokes—a portrait of place and lineage that feels like a faded photograph come to life. Beneath the warm surface, a restless current runs: the pull of home versus the need to leave. It's a ballad of quiet contradictions.
