About "(Drowning Out The) Big Jets" by Action Pact
Drowning out the big jets is a futile, heroic gesture—a garage-band roar against the sky's indifferent thunder. The song captures that specific punk defiance: turning up the amp until the neighborhood complaints become a backing choir. Beneath the volume, though, there's a tremor of insignificance, the fear that the noise won't matter.
