About This Song
About "Otic" by Alex Metric
'Otic' tunnels inward, a headphone voyage through cochlear caverns. Metric trades melody for texture—clicking rhythms, submerged bass, sounds that feel tactile. The tension is sensory: pleasure and claustrophobia braided together, as if the track is both whispering in your ear and sealing you inside it.
