About This Song
About "Lohengrin, WWV 75, Act I: Wenn ich im Kampfe für dich siege (Live)" by Bayreuther Festspielchor
A vow wrapped in conditional hope: 'Wenn ich im Kampfe für dich siege.' The live recording from Bayreuth lets the chorus swell with chivalric certainty, but the music's tenderness betrays the gamble beneath—victory offered as a fragile key to love's locked door.
