About This Song
About "Daddy Dear" by Alex Clare
Alex Clare's 'Daddy Dear' is a slow-burn of bluesy soul, the guitar a ragged whisper. The emotional weight is in the address—a child's plea or a lover's accusation? Clare's voice cracks with a quiet fury, the calm surface barely containing a storm of unresolved grief.
