About This Song
About "All I Want Is Someone to Love" by Arthur Lee Maye
Maye's 'All I Want Is Someone to Love' trades swagger for vulnerability. A slow, gospel-inflected plea, it aches with plainspoken yearning, the sparse arrangement leaving space for a lonely heart to echo against the walls of an empty room.
