About This Song
About "Werther, Act I: Jésus vient de naître!" by Chor Der Bayerischen Staatsoper
Massenet’s Christmas chorus glows with naïve devotion, but the tender 'Jésus vient de naître' carries a fragile innocence—a snow-globe warmth that feels too pure, as if heartbreak waits just beyond the manger’s glow.
