Happy People

Happy people, happy people, way up
Happy people, happy people, way up
Let's be happy, happy people, move on
Sunshine people, sunshine people, way up
Happy people, sunshine people, way up
Let's be happy, sunshine people, shine on

If you look around you
And truly try to see
The beauty that surrounds you
And that's what it will be
The definition's in your mind
And I hope that you agree
So why can't we be happy?
It's up to you and me

Lovely people, lovely people, way up
Smiling, happy people, lovely people, way up
Let's be happy, lovely people, come on
Smiling people, smiling people, way up
Happy people, smiling people, way up
Let's be happy, smiling people, shine on

Subtract the definitions
Select reality
So if happy's what you want to be
Make reality
The definition is in your mind
And I hope that you agree
Wake up, come on, get started
It's up to you and me

You can be what you want to be
The definition's in your mind

Happiness is in your soul
So let it shine on, shine on

Come on, people
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
