About "6 Lieder, Op. 13: No. 1, Ich stand in dunklen Träumen (Arr. for Bassoon & Piano by Amy Harman)" by Amy Harman
Amy Harman’s bassoon arrangement of Liszt’s song plunges into a velvet gloom. Dark, dreaming tones unfurl like smoke through a candlelit room, balancing romantic yearning with a quiet, unsettling stillness. The piano’s ripple and the reed’s breath create a tension between surrender and unease.
