About This Song
About "Great Big Kiss" by Johnny Thunders
A gloriously ragged kiss-off, all swagger and sloppy romance. Thunders channels girl-group sweetness through a gutter-punk filter, the 'great big kiss' rendered as both promise and threat. The emotional tug-of-war between tenderness and chaos makes this a quintessential slice of his solo work.
